Encoding.com is the World’s largest cloud media processing service. We empower thousands of businesses around the globe to deliver video successfully across an ever-expanding landscape of browsers, mobile devices and home entertainment platforms.
Transcoding and hosting millions of videos each month, today’s top media & entertainment brands, agencies and enterprises rely on Encoding.com to power their video workflows.
Like many successful ideas, Encoding.com was born out of necessity. In 2007, our focus was building and managing online video sites for leading brands. Similar to our customers today, we faced the daunting challenge of transcoding and preparing video content for playback across an expanding and fragmented array of consumer devices. Additional investment into our on-premise encoding infrastructure was an expensive proposition and failed to address critical needs such as ongoing support for new formats and the ability to rapidly scale processing capacity to meet spikey project demands.
A thorough look at the market for available solutions yielded nothing that would solve our requirements.
Today, our award winning platform has grown to become the first media workflow automation solution on the market offering a comprehensive suite of Cloud Media services including high-volume transcoding, digital rights management (DRM), programmatic editing, adaptive bitrate packaging and video hosting. We view ourselves as a video workflow automation company and continually strive to simplify complex video workflow challenges. We pride ourselves on our customer support and enjoy working closely with video teams around the world. To learn more, please drop us a note.
